There are two paths to victory in HexSiege:
Be the first player to completely surround 3 white hexagons with your own colored pieces. When you achieve this, you win instantly — no endgame scoring needed.
When the game ends through natural play:
10 points for each white hexagon completely surrounded by your color
1 point for each of your pieces adjacent to an unsurrounded white hexagon
The player with the highest score wins
The battle takes place on a hexagonal grid, filled with neutral white pieces and color-coded pieces for each player. Every player controls 20 pieces of their unique color, plus shared access to 10 white hexagons.
Players take turns in order, managing their hand, positioning pieces, and executing strategic moves to control the board.
Every turn follows this flow:
Roll the Dice 🎲
Roll a 12-sided die to determine your Action Points for this turn.
Roll 1 or 12? Your turn is skipped, and any white piece in your hand returns to the pool.
Any other roll: You gain that many action points to spend.

These rules add tactical depth to every decision:
Hand Management
Maximum 4 pieces in your hand at once
Maximum 1 white piece in your hand at any time
You can only pick up your own color or white pieces
Board Rules
Placed pieces cannot be returned to hand or pool — only moved
Pieces move via pivot movement: slide to an adjacent empty cell only if exactly one of the two wedge cells is occupied
White pieces cannot be adjacent to other white pieces
The board must remain fully connected after every move
Fully surrounded pieces (all 6 neighbors occupied) are locked and cannot move
Every placement matters. Will you build a strong perimeter around a white piece, or spread your pieces thin to control multiple zones? Should you block your opponent or focus on your own territory?
With limited pieces and action points, every turn demands tough choices. Do you pick up new pieces or move your existing ones? Invest in early board presence or save resources for late-game dominance?
Read your opponents' strategies. Is that player going for an early conquest win or playing for endgame points? Adapt your tactics accordingly.
A bold move can turn the tide, but it might also expose your own weaknesses. The best players know when to take calculated risks and when to play it safe.
